Be Part of Your Community Farm
At Lochhill Agroecological Farm, we're building something a little different.
As a community farm, we're bringing together food production, education, biodiversity and local people through an innovative approach known as enterprise stacking—creating multiple complementary enterprises that work together to strengthen the farm and benefit the wider community.
To date, we're proud to have a productive market garden and a growing pasture-fed Shetland cattle enterprise, alongside a year-round programme of events, workshops and knowledge-sharing activities.
But a community farm is only as strong as its community. Go to the Membership link below to see the ways you can join and support our Community Membership Scheme. Your membership helps us build a farm that belongs to the community – not just a farm that happens to be in the community.
Do you have an idea for an agroecological enterprise?
We can offer a supportive environment, collaboration, access to supply chains and a vehicle for funding.
